      张明军,男,汉族,1974年2月出生,甘肃宁县人。现任西北师范大学地理与环境科学学院院长,教授、博士生导师。兼任《地理学报(英文版)》编委,中国冰冻圈科学学会(筹)理事,甘肃省地理学会常务理事,中国科学院玉龙雪山冰川与环境观测研究站学术委员会委员,西部资源环境与区域发展智库理事会理事、副秘书长、生态环境咨询专家委员会副主任。主要从事冰川与环境演变、气候变化与水文过程等方面的研究工作。曾主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目、霍英东教育基金项目、国家重点基础研究发展计划(973)项目和中国科学院知识创新工程重要方向项目等10余项,在《Journal of Geophysical Research》《Tellus B》《Water Resources Research》《Journal of Hydrometeorology》《Environmental Science and Pollution Research》《Quaternary International》《Theoretical and Applied Climatology》《Environmental Earth Sciences》《Antarctic Science》《Journal of Geographical Sciences》《科学通报》《自然科学进展》《地理学报》《地质学报》《生态学报》《地学前缘》《地理科学》《地理研究》等国内外刊物上发表学术论文230余篇,其中SCI检索论文50余篇。先后入选陇原青年创新人才扶持计划、甘肃省领军人才、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划和甘肃省高校“飞天学者”特聘教授,获得第十五届甘肃高校青年教师成才奖、首届全国优秀地理科技工作者称号和第十六届甘肃青年五四奖章。

1997年9月-2000年7月,在中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所学习,获理学硕士学位;

2000年9月-2004年3月,在中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所学习,获理学博士学位。
